Pililia Rizal Wind Farm

While on board a plane on my way back to Manila, we were kind of on hold up in the air due to airport runway traffic of some sort.  Our plane had to fly for about 15 minutes while I guess on queue for landing.  Though delayed in arrival, It felt gratifying just by looking at the Manila skyline. While I was fond at the beauty of the landscape below, I saw some wind turbines on top of a mountainous area.

Very eager to know the exact location, I immediately looked it up online and found a couple of blogger who already visited the place. It added to my excitement knowing that the wind farm’s location is within my reach in Taytay Rizal.

I am fairly new to driving and yes my driving skill was put to test.  With the help of google map & waze my road trip had begun.

It was quite a view driving along the towns of Angono, Binangonan, Cardona, Morong Baras and Tanay Rizal. We passed by Bulawan floating Restaurant and took our lunch before heading up to the wind farm.  I have  read in some blogs that this restaurant serves delicious food.

trying my luck to catch fish

my gf whose not much into adventures like these but she’s in all smiles and looks as though she’s enjoying this new experience.

The wind mills are already visible from Bulawan restaurant.  We continued driving leading to the direction of the highway going to Laguna. The road is quite steep going uphill and careful driving should be observed almost the same if you drove along Kennon road on your way up to Baguio.
An open road on your left will lead you to the wind farm.  Unfortunately though the security guards will limit your entry to the vicinity, they already prohibited visitors to enter near the turbines because the wind farm is already in operation and is emitting radiation.

Fulfilled – one of our many road adventures to come.

HOW TO GET THERE:

For Private transport: I strongly suggest using  phone apps like Waze or Google map

For Public transport:
1.    Take the UV express or FX in Shaw Blvd or Cubao to Tanay.
2.    Get off at Tanay Public Market in Sampaloc.
3.    Hire a tricycle going to the wind farm (haggle for a cheaper fare if you can)

I love Us.

Clueless of how your voice sounds like, or how you would enunciate words, I would catch myself gawked at your presence.  In my mind, I would recall I was at a soaring level of communication intimacy with this woman.

“tall hot macchiato under the scorching sun”

Truth be told- a cup of coffee can light up New York City when taken at any given time of the day.  The make believe thought of intimate communication brought to life by the green colored, gypsy looking icon in a paper cup.

A woman who speaks her mind. I can vividly imagine how enthused you were. A brilliant mind who was openly sharing her life, unaware that the person in front was in every inch dumbfounded. I knew I already love this outspoken woman who won’t sacrifice her values in exchange for validation.

A keeper and that’s how this woman is. There’s no amount of disagreement can break the connection we bonded. I love us that I know I am not perfect and at times wrong in all sorts of aspect.
